It's 2025, guys. We're not ashamed to say we "met" on an app. But we had our first real meeting at Novella Wine Bar, a charming family-owned spot in South St. Louis.

It was a memorable night, not least of all because Ryan was shocked that the owner spent an hour talking to Ally before he could get a word in. But the biggest takeaway was that we were about to have an amazing friendship.

That's what at the root of everything we do. While we eventually made it official after a Hill family Easter (talk about trial by fire!), the friendship has been the shining thread of it all.

After two years of great food, better wine, merging friend groups, sharing new music tastes, attending concerts, raising dogs, and traveling as much as possible , Ryan proposed on a balcony overlooking the ocean in Croatia.
